I am a planner and I have an obsession with lists! So…I have already started to plan my Thanksgiving meal! (I’m a crazy perfectionist!).
My neighbour (I have the best neighbours ever because they love food as much as I do!), she went to pick some cranberries a few days ago and brought some back for us as well, so I decided to start testing cranberry sauces!
Here’s what I came up with! Very simple and delicious! Add sugar to your liking!
Course: Snacks Yield: 4 servings Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins
Ingredients
- 3 Cup of fresh cranberries
- 2/3 Cup of white sugar
- 1 Tablespoon of orange zest
- 1/2 Cup of orange juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, put all of the ingredient and bring to a boil.
- When it reaches a boil, put the heat down and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until all the cranberries have popped completely.
- If you don't think it's sugary enough, add a bit of sugar, to your liking.
- Enjoy!
