I am really into making DIY Christmas Gifts this year! After all, everyone loves food! This is a very versatile compote. You can mix it in yogurt for breakfast or event put it on a nice piece of Brie and Baguette!

I made this one with Cranberries and Peaches because that is what I had on hand but you can make it with pears or cherries!

This is a great gift that you can make for your guests if you are hosting a supper for Christmas or as a gift for a Foodie in your family! Don’t forget to make a double batch and keep some for yourself :)!

Enjoy!

quick question: how many frozen cranberries?

How long does the compote last for once it is jarred?

    • Hi Denise. I kept mine for about a week and a half and it was still good. Since we using fresh fruits, I would suggest to keep it within the 2 week range to be safe. It will get eaten in no time! Especially if you serve it with cheese!
