MMMmmmmm Granola!!
Do you know how ridiculously easy it is to make granola?
You have no excuse to buy the already made stuff people! I can make this with my eyes closed while sleeping (no I can’t, plus it would be extremely dangerous….but you catch my drift, easy peasy stuff).
I’m obsessed with eating yogurt and fruits but when I add granola, this meal can last me a whole day and trust me, I burn a LOT of energy in one day.
Get the seeds or grains you prefer and mix it up a bit! No need to make it exactly like I make it! I used sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds because I love them but you can as easily put cashews, flax seeds, etc.

Ingredients
- 3 Cup of oats (I used quick oats but you can use rolled oats as well)
- 1/2 Cup of coconut flakes
- 1/8 Cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 Cup of olive oil
- 1/2 Cup of sunflower seeds, shelled
- 1/2 Cup of pumpkin seeds, shelled
- 1/2 Cup of dried cherries
- 1/2 Cup of dried cranberries
Instructions
- Heat your oven to 350F.
- On a cookie sheet, put your pumpkin and sunflower seeds and roast them in the oven for about 8 minutes or so. If you bought already roasted seeds, skip this part.
- Bring your oven down to 250F.
- In a large bowl, mix in the oats, the coconut, the seeds and the brown sugar. In a small bowl, mix your oil and your maple syrup. Drizzle your maple syrup mixture into your dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until all combined. Divide the mixture in two and place it on two cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour and make sure to mix the granola around every 15 minutes so it bakes evenly.
- When the baking is done, they it out of the oven and mix in your dried fruits.
- Let it cool completely and serve!
- I put some of this granola in my yogurt everyday!
