Guacamole

Whether it’s to serve with fajitas or just by itself as an appetizer, guacamole is always a great healthy choice for your table!

Course: Appetizers    Yield: 8 servings    Prep Time: 5 mins  


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 smal roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 the juice of half of a lemon
  • 1/4 Cup of finely chopped red onion
  • 2 gloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoon of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. If you want a chunky guacamole, mash up the avocados with a fork. If you want a smooth guacamole, put the flesh of the two avocados in a food processor and puree.
  2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and set aside in the fridge for at lease an hour or two before serving.
  3. Make sure that when you cover your guacamole, to leave no space for air between your plastic wrap and your guacamole. This will prevent it from browning.
