Four Cheese Spinach Dip Kelsey’s Style

February 3, 2012

4 cheese spinach dip

It’s Superbowl week-end everyone!!!! I am so excited!!!! Now don’t hate on me if you are a Giants fan, but common, have you ever seen Tom Brady?

tom brady

I mean REALLY??? You would pick Eli over this?

tom brady

I mean, if were talking hotness, I think Mark Sanchez is a close competitor!

mark sanchez

WOW!!!!…..uhhhh….what’s my name again!?

Did I just use a recipe as an excuse to post pictures of hotties?

What were we talking about? Oh ya….Football….Anyways! All to say that I am a Pats fan (don’t hate!) and that although Tom Brady is (in my dreams) my second husband (love you Karl!), my favourite player is actually Wes Welker! I think he’s just such a great player!

Anyways! Back to food! This dip is a MAJOR crowd pleaser!  You can whip it up in 5 minutes, put it in the oven and you are done! As easy as that! AND the most important part is that WHILE you are making the dip and following my step by step instructions, you can have a look at the above pictures and get some eye candy while cooking!!!! I think this is the smartest idea I have ever had….which doesn’t say much about me but…Anyways!

Enjoy the game, enjoy the food and let’s hope the Pats actually win this one!

  • amandamerrigan

Can I make this ahead of time? (ie, keep in the fridge for a couple days before baking) Also, does it freeze well?

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

I usually make it the day before but you can make it 2 days if advance too! I have never tried to freeze it since it always gets devoured in no time :)

  • BitsyBet

I have a sensitive stomach, so I skipped the pepper and substituted 1 teaspoon of onion powder for the scallion.  Delicious and went over well at the party.

    Great to hear!!!:)

  • Nokie MeetsFashion

Just made this omg, this is better then any spinach dip I’ve every tasted. I was wondering is there a way to make it creamer and not so stiff. Thanks

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

    Hi Nokie!
You can either use low fat cream cheese or you can add a bit of milk or watter to the mixture before putting it in the oven :)

  • Carol

I used to work at Kelseys…reciepe is close but not quite right. There isn’t romano or parm in it. Its asiago and feta. No garlic, or scallions. You use miranda’s hot sauce, chili peppers, and red onions.

  • Donna

Can you prepare the spinach dip ahead i.e. morning to heat & serve for after supper??

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

    You sure can :) Enjoy!

  • Donna

Alex, I just saw where you make it the day before. Does that mean you cook it day before or just prepare to cook and then bake at last minute??

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

Prep before, bake the day of :)

  • Anonymous

    can it be served cold

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

It can but I don’t know if it will be as delicious :)

  • Anonymous

then how are people saying theyre making it ahead of time? Do they reheat it? Is it still good & fresh tasting if reheated?

  • Anonymous

never mind. Just saw answer. Prep day before & bake the day of.

  • Anonymous

Can I make this in a crock pot? I’m going to a family members house 6 hours away, and staying in a hotel. Trying to figure out what to bring food wise without really having to use their kitchen.

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

Hi Alex! I unfortunately have never tried it in the slow cooker but you could try it on high! Let me know how it goes :)

  • Pennie

Can I double or triple the recipe!

  • Alex – I Adore Food!

You surely can my dear :)
