Every time I cook, I try to make everything from scratch. Since we decided to have a “make your own pizza” night last night, I looked for the best pizza sauce recipe I could find. It was in fact quite delicious! Pizza night is so great because you can make the dough, the sauce and chop the fresh ingredients in advance. You make small pizzas so everyone can have their own and pick what they want as toppings. We love doing that in my family 🙂

Ingredients
- 3 6 oz can of tomato paste
- 2 Cup of hot water
- 1/2 Cup of grated parmesan
- 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1/4 Cup of honey
- 2 1/2 Teaspoon of onion powder
- 3/4 Teaspoon of dried oregano
- 3/4 Teaspoon of dried marjoram
- 3/4 Teaspoon of basil
- 3/4 Teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon of cayenne
- 1/2 Teaspoon of dried red pepper flakes
- a pinch of salt
Instructions
- To start, combine tomato paste, water, Parmesan cheese, garlic, honey, onion powder, oregano, marjoram, basil, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and salt. Mix well. If you have a food processor or a blender, put your sauce in it for a tiny bit of time to make sure there are no chunks.
- The sauce should sit for 30 minutes to blend flavours; spread over pizza dough and prepare pizza as desired.
