Banana bread is a staple in my family and one of my sister’s favourite dessert. I make it for her pretty much every time I go see her. This recipe is so easy to whip up and it’s a great recipe to use over ripped bananas.

Banana and Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of baking soda
  • 3 ripped bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup of chocolate chips (I use semi sweet )

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven at 350F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix wet ingredients together with the sugar as well as the baking soda.
  3. Mix in the flour and the baking powder. Mix well.
  4. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. Grease a bread pan and pour the mixture in it. Put in the middle rack of the heated oven and bake for an hour or until a wooden stick comes out clean.
