Dannon Oikos Yogurt and a Giveaway! Winner announced!

If you ask Karl, he will tell you that if I was stranded on an island and I could only pick one thing to bring with me, it would be a huge box of yogurt. I know, you’re thinking, what about water?

Honestly, I eat yogurt twice a day and I am always craving it!

Our new thing nowadays is greek yogurt. I love how thick it is and how it fills me up.

I literally started eating greek yogurt 2 weeks before Dannon contacted me to do a giveaway on my blog!

Everything happens for a reason!

Have you ever tried their greek yogurt? It’s called Oikos and it’s 0% fat greek yogurt! I usually mix it with fresh fruit and homemade granola in the morning. It makes for a healthy and nutritious breakfast!

I have to admit that I also get hungry very late at night, just before going to bed and I find that having a small portion of yogurt does the trick instead of chips! I mean….it’s almost summer and I have to make sure I am bikini ready! ;)

With that being said, Greek yogurt is good as a snack but it is also extremely versatile. I found a bunch of great dip recipes on the Oikos website! There’s even one to make Boursin style cheese spread! Can’t wait to try that one!

What I love the most about their yogurt is that it’s free of aspartame and all those bad ingredients that you don’t want in your food!

    Summer is about eating fresh fruit and veggies! I eat tons of fresh berries and peaches for breakfast either in a smoothie or with yogurt and granola, for lunch I have a slice of multi grain toast with my “super salad” filled with fruit, veggies, almonds and a splash of balsamic. For dinner it really depends on how active I’ve been that day,but I try to balance the rest of my days food over dinner. 

    It’s summer, so I like being extra active and eat the freshest foods!

    I actually am a big fan of greek yogurt, and that is usually what I start my day off with.  Plain greek yogurt with a little bit of honey hits the spot!

    Yum, I love Oikos Greek Yogurt! My diet doesn’t change too much in the summertime, but I will say I’ve noticed fresh super ripe farmer’s market fruit has been an awesome substitution for baked desserty foods.  mmm…fruit and greek yogurt sound delicious, too!

    I have been trying to lose weight for various weddings. I’ve cut out a lot of breads and watched portion control. My husband and I found out that a Sunday night snack of Oikos vanilla yogurt with some blueberries mixed in is a wonderful way to finish an evening. Down 10 pounds!!
